Women Empowerment

The dictionary meaning of empowerment is “the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one’s life and claiming one’s rights”. Women world over, including India, have long been sufferers of apathy and exploitation. However, over the last 2 decades positive efforts are being undertaken to address this anomaly of gender bias. There are various ways in which interventions are being made in the area of women empowerment and UCIC strongly supports Companies that are consciously working towards it:
